Once again in the history, according to plan the second successful series of #CornettoPopRock was launched in Lahore on May 06 in coordination with BB Events &PR & Empact Activations. There was a huge amount of student audiences from all over the Lahore and this 4 hours star studded event kept all audiences on dancing and roaring. The event was started by RJ Khalid Malik along with the winners of Lahore auditions Ehtesham and Fawad. Lator on, the event was carried on with the heart captivating performances of Komal Rizvi, NOOri and Ali Azmat. On this excited events night, Komal Rizvi and Qurram form Josh set the stage on fire with their energetic, enthusiastic and excited duet Des Da Raja. This type of enthusiasm in this event of #ConettoPopRock have only been spotted on international concerts and it was a biggest surprise for the people of Lahore.


#CornettoPopRock is a series of concerts and these concerts will be held in one of the cities i.e.; Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. This year the concerts will be held on the following dates:

  • Karachi – 15st April 2016
  • Lahore – 06th May 2016
  • Islamabad – 21st May 2016

The main purpose of this program is to reinvigorate pop & rock culture among the talented and passionate youth of Pakistan. Ali Azmat, Komal Rizvi, Noori, Umair Jaswal & Zoe Viccaji, the maestros of music club will have performances on behalf of this platform in 2016. Pakistani rock star Ali Zafar and Q from JoSh are also in queue for amazing performances.

Cornetto is an adventurous merrymaking platform for youth of Pakistan to show up their insights and excitement. ‘Music expresses the words which we cannot speak and that which cannot remain silent’. Since 2008, in collaboration with other paramount bands, Cornetto has been allied for popularizing our local talent and preceded from the film ‘Karachi se Lahore’ and Cornetto Music Icons.

#CornettoPopRock, a platform which is dedicated to revive music in Pakistan, has unbeatable orchestra. And considering its momentous link with music, Cornetto is proud to unveil this platform for those students and youngsters who are finding a platform for showing up their talent. This platform will not only provide them opportunity to show up their talent but also these youngsters will be mentored by the famous music icons and they’ll get a chance to learn from those music icons.


In May/June 2016, #CornettoPopRock is ready to release 3 singles and 3 duets by the famous Pakistani rock stars. These six music videos are directed by Amaan Ahmed form Uncut Studios and these music videos are discovered by Empact and BB event & PR. In these six videos, the singles are sung by the legends Ali Azmat, Noorie and Umair Jaswal and among three duets first is sung by the famous Ali Azmat and Noori, second by Q from JoSh and Komal Rizvi and the last but not the least is anticipated by Umair Jaswal and Zoe Viccaji.

Besides exhibiting the Pop Rock culture, #cornetto will also be a platform for promoting the styles and designs of Pakistani famous designers which include Aamna Aqueel, Nomi Ansari, and Deepak Perwani, Munib Nawaz with a makeup artist Beenish pevaiz and Shammal Qureshi from Tony n Guy in Karachi and Lahore respectively.

As #cornettoPopRock is a platform for youngsters and the youngsters will have an opportunity to show their talents in one of the cities i.e.; Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. But these students will get this opportunity of sharing a stage with Pakistanis by arranging #CornettoPopRock concert only after auditions.
